Hong Kong-born actor TERENCE YIN 尹子維 was raised and educated in Southern California.
The son of famed actress Jenny Hu and director/producer Kang Wei, Yin made his film debut in 1998 as the villain Alien in the sci-fi action film “Hot War” 幻影特攻. In this film, he showcased his linguistic abilities in English and Cantonese.
Yin’s vast range as an actor and a performer has allowed him to play roles across all genres and cultures.
To date, Yin has starred in over 30 feature films including Johnnie To’s crime-thriller “Life Without Principle” 奪命金, the romantic-comedy “Don’t Go Breaking My heart” 單身男女, Jackie Chan’s “New Police Story” 新警察故事 and opposite Angelina Jolie and Gerard Butler in “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.”
In addition to acting, Yin is a highly successful singer having released two albums, “Undecided” and “Transparent” 透明.
For the role of the dashing Ballet Master Victor Young, Yin worked closely with both the choreographer Yong-Jin Li and director Stanley Orzel to hone his skills in the dance sequence with Grace Huang.
