SEAN FARIS 桑輝魯斯, one of Hollywood’s most sought after actors today, plays the role of Michael Vance, an ex-Marine who comes to Hong Kong to join a multinational corporation.
A native of Texas, Faris moved to Ohio at age 12. Upon graduating with honors from Padua Franciscan High School, he left for Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
Over the next few years, Faris worked tirelessly in both films and television. From small roles as in Michael Bay’s “Pearl Harbor” to the lead in “Sleepover” opposite Alexa Vega, Faris’ good looks and versatility got the attention of both studios and audience alike. In 2004 he received a nomination for Best Young Actor in the Young Hollywood Awards.
His breakthrough role as a troubled high school senior in the 2008 action drama “Never Back Down” won an MTV Movie Award and firmly established Faris’ star power.
In 2010, Faris led the cast of “The King of Fighters”, a live-action feature based on the popular video game of the same name. In this film he starred opposite Maggie Q and Will Yun Lee and was directed by Hong Kong’s own Gordon Chan.
Most recently, Faris co-starred with Dolph Lundgren in the crime drama “Stash House”. He also co-stars in the indie thriller “Pawn” alongside a stellar ensemble cast including Ray Liotta, Nikki Reed and Forest Whitaker. Sean Faris currently recurs as Detective Holbrook in the hit TV series “Pretty Little Liars” (2013-2015).
“Lost for Words 愛。真。承” is Faris’ first, he hopes of many, Asia-based film.
